In Loving Memory of Barbara DeLorenzo
Barbara C. DeLorenzo, 59, of Upper Freehold Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York City, NY.
On that day, she won her battle of 3 years and died from cancer.
She worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Charles Jones for many years. Most of all she cherished the Friday nights she spent at her son’s restaurant, DeLorenzo’s The Burg.
On May 20,1989, Barb married the love of her life, Robert DeLorenzo and celebrated 32 years of marriage.
They had 4 children, Nicole, Tyler, Christa, and Matthew. Barb treasured her family more than anything. She was a most dedicated and proud mother, cheering on each one her children in all their pursuits.
She adored long walks through Washington Crossing Park on a sunny day, and days with her toes in the sand at Diamond Beach. She loved baking, coffee in the morning, petting her two loving dogs, Cali and Ryder, and seeing her children happy.
Those who knew and loved Barb will find comfort in the remembrance of her incredible sense of humor, beautiful smile and laugh, and her ability to make everyone she met feel like they were loved unconditionally.
Predeceased by her father, Tadeusz Dahl, and father-in-law, Americho DeLorenzo.

Here is the very special family that The Barkann Foundation will be supporting in Barbara’s Memory.
M is the mother of five children. Her youngest child, currently age 12 months, had to be delivered prematurely at 28 weeks due to injuries Mariah sustained due to a car accident in 2021.
A drug-impaired driver hit mother’s car on I-95, and although the driver is now incarcerated, mother continues to experience the trauma of the accident and its aftermath.
Her youngest child now has a history of serious, permanent medical and developmental issues requiring tube feeds, multiple specialists and a complex care plan.
M previously worked in Home Care, but she has not yet been able to return to work following the accident, especially due to the demands of her youngest child’s care.
Despite her many challenges following the accident, including financial stressors, mother has been diligent in working to meet all of her children’s needs and keep her household stable.
